WELCOME TO KYRGYZSTAN
- Kyrgyzstan formula ialah 2 X 5 - Buang 2 kosong darab 5. We are now in Kyrgyzstan - next country in our travel itinery.
- We plan to stay here for five days. Our objective is to see natures in the country during cold season - lakes, canyon and mountains. Upon completion of our stay we plan to proceed further to the next - Uzbekistan.

It’s very easy to get to the Burana Tower from Bishkek – the journey will take you only 1.5 hours (a bit longer if there’s a lot of traffic in Bishkek). Burana Tower is located near the town of Tokmok, so your first step is to get to Tokmok. First, head to Bishkek’s Eastern Bus Station by taxi or local marshrutka. When you arrive, search for marshrutka number 353 to Tokmok. This frequent marshrutka heads directly to Tokmok and costs just 50 som. The journey will take about 1 hour. When you arrive in Tokmok, you’ll need to find a taxi to take you to the tower (there are marshrutkas, but they are infrequent). A round-trip taxi including 1 hour of waiting time will cost between 300 and 400 som, although you will need to negotiate. If you only take the taxi one-way, you’ll need to hitchhike back to Tokmok. - Distance is about 700 meters. Slow walk and sightseeing and window
shopping on the way to the mosque.
- Tour around and in the mosque before Fridays prayer at 1:30 pm. Then a guy suggested still have time for another mosque visit.
TURKISH MOSQUE
- Walked to Turkish mosque. Distance 1.6 km from earlier mosque. Done
Fridays prayer and lunch outside the mosque.

OSH BAZAAR
- Took Yandex for 25 minutes ride (KGS 300 = $3).
Distance : 5.1km. Big areas for all needs shopping. Activities here
for 2 hours.

ALA-TOO SQUARE

Took taxi for 33 minutes (distance 3 km) fare KGS 500 = $6 to next visit: Ala-Too Square. Getting dark already with temperature
below zero yet the place is fabulous with crowded visitors.
- Traffic slow every where, decided to walk back to hotel. Stopped by for money matters and tapau hotdog dinner. Arrived 7:40 pm after 1.3 km walk.

ALA ARCHA NATIONAL PARK
- Beautiful National Park. Distance from city 32 km.
- Our new acquainted cab driver/guide Sultan managed the trip from beginning till the end. .
- Walking in the park. Meet four Malaysian there. Spent almost three hours. Total walk 4 km.
- End of walk and prayed at the surau at the parking lot.
- On the way back stopped for lunch. Very nice grilled fish at Kashka Suu Forel' [ΠΠ°ΡΠΊΠ° Π‘ΡΡ Π€ΠΎΡΠ΅Π»Ρ] restaurant. Spent $30
- Stopped by Presidents place for quick photos.
- Expenses: Taxi KGS 600 ($58), gate fee $8, lunch $30. Total $96.

CHUNKURCHAK MOUNTAIN
- Trip to mountain took 1.5 hour. Distance of 38 km. Taxi pick-up. Stop for fuel snd snacks. Along the way to the mountains quick stop for photos.
- Stayed there for 1.5hr. Skiing, skate-boarding - (not us), eating, walking.
- Then 10-minute drive to Supara resort. Stayed there for 30 min, then continue next - Ata Beyitrt.
- Expenses; taxi $69,; snacks $6, ata beyit entrance $2.30, museum$4.60. Total: $82.

ATA-BEYIT MEMORIAL
- Left Chunkurchak for Ata Beyit. Trip took 50 minutes to reach there.
- Gate entrance KGS200/car
- Visited memorial and museum. Museum entrance KGS200/person.
- Visit duration 50 minutes. Drove back to the hotel. Trip back from Ata-Beyit took another hour.
